rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship

The rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship is dedicated to improving postsecondary education opportunities for community college students intending to transfer from Ozarks Technical Community College or Three Rivers Community College to an accredited, nonprofit 4-year college or university. This is a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 annually. The rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship is administered by The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.

Student eligibility:
Students transferring from Ozarks Technical Community College to a bachelor’s degree-granting institution must have graduated in 2016, 2017, or 2018 from one of the following Missouri high schools to be eligible to apply:
Lebanon High School, Marshfield High School, or West Plains High School.
OR
Students transferring from Three Rivers Community College to a bachelor’s degree-granting institution must have graduated in 2016, 2017, or 2018 from one of the following Missouri high schools to be eligible to apply:
Cape Central High School, Central High School (New Madrid), Kennett High School, Poplar Bluff High School, or Sikeston High School.

Impact

Thanks to the generosity of a consortium of anonymous donors, six scholarships will be awarded to community college transfer students from the identified rural areas with the intention of preparing students from rural Missouri for stronger futures and career opportunities.
