Soroptimist International of Greater St. Louis Eleanor Bergfeld Scholarship

This scholarship was provided by the late Eleanor Bergfeld, a charter member of Soroptimist International of Greater St. Louis, in her will. It is our desire to support capable young women who need financial assistance in order to achieve their greatest potential through education.

THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS FOR THE FALL SEMESTER 2023

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Open to female students (except incoming freshmen) who are enrolled full-time at an accredited two or four-year college or other post-secondary school.
  • Applicants must be a U.S citizen and a resident of the St. Louis metro area (St. Louis city, the Missouri counties of St. Louis, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, or Warren, and the Illinois counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair.)
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Applicants should be Pell-eligible

Recipients may reapply each semester for scholarship consideration for a maximum of four years of funding, provided they continue to meet the eligibility requirements listed here.

If you are a current college student, please make sure you answered the question asking for your college GPA.

NOTE: As the applicant, it is your responsibility to inform that person to watch for an email sent on your behalf that will explain how to complete this process.
