John and Isabel Campbell Memorial Scholarship
The John and Isabel Campbell Memorial Scholarship will annually award up to two renewable $2,000 scholarships to students graduating from Northfield High School. Each recipient will demonstrate unmet financial need at the four year college or university he or she attends in the United States.
Eligibility
To be eligible, the applicant must
- be graduating or a recent graduate of Northfield High School in Northfield, MN;
- plan to enroll full time in an accredited, nonprofit post-secondary two-year or four-year college, university or technical school in the United States of America; and
- demonstrate unmet financial need at the eligible post-secondary institution he or she plans to attend.
Selection
Selection will be based on the student’s academic record, contributions to the communities in which the student lives, the quality of the essay and letter(s) of recommendation, and consideration of unusual circumstances.

Eligibility, financial need, and award amount for this scholarship program will be determined by the St. Louis Community Foundation. - List any extracurricular activities, work or volunteer involvement, including the activity, the time involved, dates of involvement, and position(s) held:
- List the names of any siblings, their age(s), what school(s) they are attending (if any)
- UPLOAD: Upload your FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) for next year.
- Upload the Financial Aid Award letter for the college you plan to attend, if it is available by the application deadline. This document will be required before an award is determined.
- ESSAY: In less than 500 words, tell us what community spirit means to you, including how your school and community involvement demonstrates your commitment to enriching the lives of others in the community in which you live.
- If you wish to inform the reviewers of any unusual financial circumstances, including costs associated with your education or educational loans already incurred for or by you, please provide here. Please note that tax forms, W-2s or other documentation may be requested to verify information on the FAFSA Student Aid Report.
- SCHOLARSHIP CENTRAL RECOMMENDATION: If you filled out the recommendation question on your General Application, please select it from the drop down below. If you did NOT complete the recommendation on your General Application, enter the name and e-mail address of an instructor, counselor, advisor, supervisor or other similarly qualified individual who will submit a recommendation on your behalf.
