Greater East St. Louis Community Fund Scholarships

The Greater East St. Louis Community Fund is offering scholarships for up to 4 years of college study to eligible high school seniors who are residents of East St. Louis or Brooklyn, Illinois.
Eligibility:

  • Must be a high school senior
  • Must be a resident of East St. Louis or Brooklyn, Illinois
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High school GPA of 2.75 or greater
  • Be accepted by an accredited, nonprofit, college or university

All freshman applicants who are eligible and approved will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Some applicants may be approved for a multi-year scholarship beyond the freshman year. If approved for a multi-year scholarship, applicants are required to maintain a GPA of 2.75 and full-time enrollment to receive additional scholarship awards. Beyond the freshman year, if the applicant has a GPA of 3.25 or above, they may be eligible for a higher scholarship award of up to $4,000 depending upon their school classification.
