Association of the US Army St. Louis Gateway Chapter Annual Scholarship

The Association of the United States Army, St. Louis Gateway Chapter offers merit-based scholarships to high school seniors and current college students in the St. Louis metro area.

To be eligible in the high school senior category, student applicants must fall into one of the four following sub-categories:
(1) Currently Serving. A student with a parent who is currently a member of any Active, Guard or Reserve component of the U.S. Army.
(2) Army Veteran. A student with a parent who served in the U.S. Army, Guard or Reserve, i.e. an Army Veteran.
(3) Army Defense Contractor or Army Agency. A student with a parent who currently works for an Army defense contractor or an Army defense agency.
(4) Army JROTC. A student currently enrolled in a high school Army JROTC program.

Scholarships are also available to Army personnel currently attending college and are (1) Active Army personnel; (2) National Guard & Reserve Students; or (3) a spouse of an individual who meets any of the above qualifications.

These scholarships recognize a student’s academic and leadership achievements and are available to high school seniors, Army personnel and Army ROTC students in the Gateway Chapter territory.

This scholarship requires two letters of recommendation. One recommendation must come from a teacher.

Eligible counties: Missouri – St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, Franklin County, Warren County, Lincoln County. Illinois – Madison County, St. Clair County, Monroe County, Calhoun County, Jersey County.
