MOACAC Scholarship for Students with Financial Need

MOACAC would like to recognize the hard work done by students to identify and plan for a best fit college. This scholarship is meant to contribute to closing the gap for a student with financial need who has a gap remaining in their financial aid planning. This is a one time, non-renewable award.

Eligibility Criteria
Students must be a Missouri resident and a 2023 graduate from a Missouri High School (open to DACA and undocumented students)
Applicants must enroll as a full-time student at a MOACAC member postsecondary institution. Click here for list of member institutions
2.5 or higher GPA
Remaining financial aid gap

If you are unable to provide any of the documentation required (Student Aid Report (SAR) from your FAFSA or financial aid award offer/letter) contact support@myscholarshipcentral.org for alternatives.

Winners for this award will be selected by August 2023.

If selected recipient does not enroll in a MOACAC postsecondary member institution, the scholarship will be revoked and awarded to another applicant.

  1. This scholarship is for students who will enroll in a MOACAC member postsecondary institution. Click here to see a list of MOACAC member institutions. If you are selected to receive the scholarship and do not enroll in a MOACAC postsecondary member institution, the scholarship will be revoked and awarded to another applicant. Check the box below to indicate you understand that must enroll in a member institution to receive the scholarship.

  5. What is your Expected Family Contribution (EFC)? The EFC can be found on the Student Aid Report (SAR).
  6. STUDENT AID REPORT (SAR): Upload all pages of your 2023-2024 Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR is the document resulting from the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are unable to file a FAFSA for any reason, please contact My Scholarship Central at support@myscholarshipcentral.org or (573)-303-8688 for guidance on information that may be submitted as a substitute.
  7. Please upload the financial aid award offer/letter from your college, including all grants and scholarships provided by your college.
  8. Please list any additional scholarships that you have received including the name of the scholarship, the organization awarding the scholarship, and the amount per year of the scholarship.
  9. You must submit either a video or an essay (500 words or fewer) answering the following: This scholarship seeks to support students with remaining financial need for their post-secondary plans. So that we might understand why you are a good candidate for the scholarship, please address the following questions. What steps have you taken so that your post-secondary plans will be fully financed? How do you plan to pay for your post-secondary plans? Explain other reasons why you need this scholarship.
