Dr. Donald Suggs Scholarship - University of Missouri

The Dr. Donald Suggs Scholarship is designed to enhance recruitment and retention of academically talented undergraduate students from ethnic groups that are typically under-represented in higher education. This scholarship is named to honor Dr. Donald M. Suggs, oral surgeon, newspaper publisher, patron of the arts and distinguished community leader. His contributions to the City of St. Louis and the State of Missouri are recognized and honored by the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Minimum qualifications
Composite ACT score of 27 or higher or an SAT score of 1260 or higher for the new exam
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Enrollment at MU the first semester after high school graduation
Membership in a racial or ethnic minority group that is under-represented in relation to the University’s goal to achieve educational benefits of a diverse student body.
First preference shall be given to students who are residents of the greater St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.
