Unbound Potential Scholarship
The Unbound Potential Scholarship supports neurodivergent students who are pursuing their goals through nontraditional paths. This scholarship is designed to recognize and empower individuals with autism and other neurodivergent conditions by providing financial assistance without the usual academic requirements or lengthy essays. Our goal is to help unlock the unique, unbound potential in every student.
This scholarship is provided by The UP Foundation—a nonprofit foundation organized exclusively for charitable and education purposes. The foundation’s mission is to empower neurodivergent students by providing scholarships, resources, and advocacy that honor nontraditional education journeys and unlock lifelong potential.
Eligibility
- Must have a diagnosed neurodivergent condition
- Must be enrolled in college, trade school, or certificate program.
- Must live in one of the counties of northwest or northeast Missouri listed below:
Adair, Andrew, Atchison, Audrain, Boone, Buchanan, Caldwell, Callaway, Carroll, Chariton, Clark, Clinton, Daviess, Dekalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Howard, Knox, Lewis, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Marion, Mercer, Monroe, Montgomery, Nodaway, PIke, Putnam, Ralls, Randolph, Ray, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby, Sullivan, Worth
This scholarship will be awarded for up to two semesters ($500 per semester). Students must provide transcript reflecting successful completion of coursework to continue to receive the scholarship.
Funds will be sent directly to the school.
