Vitendo4Africa Scholarship

Program Purpose
To provide financial support for African immigrant students pursuing post-secondary education, including college, university, trade, or vocational training.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

  • Be of African immigrant background (at least one grandparent must be an African immigrant).
  • Be a permanent resident of the St. Louis region, including: the City of St. Louis, Missouri counties: Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis, Warren, and Washington
  • Be a graduating high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (merit scholarship), or a current college student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Be admitted or enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade/vocational institution in the U.S.

  12. List any organization that you have volunteered your time in the last 2 years. Make sure you state the full name of the organization, the number of hours, the person that supervised/authorized your hours and their contact information.
  13. Please upload a recent photo of yourself. Make sure it is a professional looking headshot.
  14. Submit a brief biography (200-300 words). Note that if you are awarded a scholarship, this biography will be published in the program.
