Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, Epsilon Lambda Chapter
The mission of the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation is to promote and uplift the education of youth and the advancement of communities. This is achieved through it involvement in various activities and initiatives. These activities are to support both the national initiatives and programs of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated as well as support other local philanthropic interest in St. Louis metro area.
Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men, was founded on December 4, 1906, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of brotherhood among African descendants in this country.
