Missouri Boys State Memorial Trust
The Missouri Boys State Memorial Trust is proud to provide several outstanding scholarship opportunities, including the “Man in the Arena” Scholarship and the “Spirit of Service” Grant. This financial support was made possible by an endowment from The Vogel Family of St. Charles, MO. The “Man in the Arena” Scholarship will be a life-changing opportunity for its recipient. The “Spirit of Service” Grant will encourage volunteerism and public service. This grant opportunity was created in honor of Adam and Drew Vogel, both accomplished leaders and past participants at Missouri Boys State.
The Missouri Boys State Trust was created in 1982 with the primary mission of securing the financial future of The American Legion Boys State of Missouri, Inc. The Missouri Boys State program was founded in 1938 by the Missouri American Legion with its sole purpose to provide leadership, citizenship and public service training for young men all across Missouri. The MBS Trust was created to ensure the financial security of this program now and in perpetuity. In addition to its primary mission, the MBS Trust provides several levels of support for the Missouri Boys State program including the scholarships listed here at Scholarship Central. The Missouri Boys State Trust is certified as a 501©3 tax exempt public charitable organization as designated by the IRS.
