The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan Saint Louis Chapter
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan Saint Louis Chapter, awards a scholarship to academically promising black women. This scholarship program is called Achievement Against the Odds. This scholarship is offered to:
- Identify, publicly honor, and encourage academically promising Black women who are striving to advance or change careers
- Encourage Black women who exhibit evidence of the ability to achieve and continue their formal education
- Equip under-skilled or under-employed Black women with the resources needed to enter the work force and seek professional employment
Qualifications;
- Applicants must be at least 30 years of age
- Enrolled in an accredited college for at least one year
- Reside in the Metropolitan St. Louis area.
