Missouri Courage Scholarship
Missouri Courage Scholarship is the first, and largest, state-wide LGBTQ scholarship organization in Missouri. We fund scholarships for Missourians pursuing higher education. Our mission is to acknowledge, affirm, and reward students who demonstrate courage and take a stand for social justice. We have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to more than 100 students in our four-year history.
The application period is typically between January 1 and March 1. Apply here: http://courage-scholarship.org/
Eligibility: Our scholarship is open to Missouri students seeking higher education who have worked to advance the dignity and equality of the LGBTQ community, the lives of people of color, religious minorities, women, immigrants, people with disabilities, or other social justice causes. We believe the advancement and inclusion of any marginalized group is essential to the empowerment of all who have been marginalized.
