The Golf Foundation of Missouri - Larry L. Deskins Scholarship Fund

The Larry L. Deskins Scholarship (“Scholarship”) will provide financial assistance for secondary education to eligible applicants that have attended Golf Foundation of Missouri summer camps.

Applicant Criteria/Eligibility

  • Current graduating high school seniors
  • Documented GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Greater St. Louis area residents (MO &IL)
  • Preference to Golf Foundation camp attendees, but also open to anyone who plays or has an interest in golf
  • Candidate must be attending an accredited: 2 or 4 year college or university, junior college, or trade or vocational school in the United States upon graduation. Applicants that have already received a technical or secondary degree are not eligible.
  • Financial need – students are required to submit their FAFSA Submission Summary, share a statement as to financial need, share plan on how applicant plans to fund schooling.

Before funds are disbursed eligible recipients will be asked to provide:

  • Documentation of acceptance and enrollment,
  • A signed Guideline Agreement and,
  • A summary of 25 hours of community Service – school clubs, church organizations, caring for a family member, etc.

  1. This scholarship is for students who either attended a Golf Foundation camp or anyone who has played golf or is interested in golf. If you attended camp, please share the year you attended. If you are interested in golf, share your interest and experience playing golf.
