The Saint Louis Colombian Society, Inc. Scholarship

The Saint Louis Colombian Society, Inc. will grant four $1,500 scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic school year to students who are enrolled in a two-year or four-year program in an accredited college, university in United States. Also, two $1000 scholarships for students enroll in a technical /trade school program in the United States. Awards will be granted to students based on the eligibility requirements and the analyses of their essays. The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to promote and advance the education of Hispanic community in the St Louis Area.

Eligibility

Applicants must:
• Be Hispanic/Latino (at least one parent must be/have been Hispanic/Latino).
• Be in pursuit of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a technical/trade school program.
• Be a full-time student. if enrolled in a universitycollege 2 or 4 year program; or be at least a part time student in enrolled in a technical/trade school program (at least 10 hours per week)
• Be U.S. citizens, Permanent residents, or hold DACA status.
• Have a physical address from the Greater St. Louis region (MO Counties – Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis, St. Louis City, Warren, Washington; IL Counties – Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, St. Clair).
• Be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical/trade school in the United States.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA if enrolled in a university/college 2 or 4 year program; or have a minimum 2.5 GPA if enrolled in a technical/trade school program

The scholarship money will go directly to the recipient’s selected Institution.
