The Saint Louis Colombian Society, Inc. Scholarship

The Saint Louis Colombian Society, Inc. will grant $1,000 scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic school year to students who are enrolled in a two-year or four-year program in an accredited college or university in the United States. Awards will be granted to students based on the eligibility requirements and the analyses of their essays. The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to promote and advance the education of Hispanics/Latinos.

Eligibility

Applicants must:
• Be Hispanic/Latino (at least one grandparent must be/have been Hispanic/Latino).
• Be a full-time student.
• Be in pursuit of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Be U.S. citizens, Permanent residents, or hold DACA status.
• Have a physical address from the Greater St. Louis region (MO Counties – Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis, St. Louis City, Warren, Washington; IL Counties – Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, St. Clair).
• Be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

The scholarship money will go directly to the recipient’s selected Institution.
