Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship
The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) is pleased to offer the Braxton Rethwisch scholarship to high school seniors who exhibit a commitment to learning and have demonstrated leadership skills and community service involvement. Five students will be awarded a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship.
Eligibility
Open to current High School Seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
Applicants must be a Missouri resident or graduate from a high school in the state of Missouri
Applicants must enroll as a full-time student at a MOACAC member postsecondary institution. Click here for list of member institutions
If selected recipient does not enroll in a MOACAC postsecondary member institution, the scholarship will be revoked and awarded to another applicant.

1. Commitment to Learning-Tell us about a recent time or experience that was a great learning opportunity for you. What was the experience? What was the lesson(s) learned? Did you learn anything about yourself in the process?
2. Leadership Skills (For example extra-curricular leadership, community leadership, responsibilities at home, etc.)-What was your most satisfying leadership role and why? What are some qualities you demonstrated in that role, and what advice would you give to someone going into a leadership position for the first time?”
3. Community Service-Tell us about a contribution you've made to your community. How do you plan to use your college journey to continue giving back to your community?
4. Diversity & Inclusion- What does diversity mean to you? What role do you play in championing or embracing diversity in your communities? What impact do you believe you have on the people/communities around you in the experience you choose to write about?
