Option 1: Some CRT theorists say Critical Race Theory (CRT) is identified (1) as ideas/concepts that race is a sociological rather than a biological designation, and (2) CRT attempts to reveal how racial oppression shaped the legal fabric of the U.S. In you opinion, is either or both of the statements relevant to an equally diverse classroom? Explain why or why not.

Option 2: In January 2024 a sophomore student in a Francis Howell School (St. Charles, MO) led a student group in protest of the school board's Dec. 21, 2023 decision to remove Black history and Black literature classes at the high school level. Should Black History and Black Literature be a mandatory or elective part of the high school curriculum, and should scholars and parents have a voice in making the decision? Explain why or why not.

Option 3: A SIX WORD STORY. In settings such as in boardrooms, classrooms, staff retreats, and conferences, Six-Word Memoirs is a simple concept that’s become an effective tool to spark conversation, crystallize goals, and boil anything down to its core. Copy and paste the link below to view a video where the author uses the technique: https://www.cbsnews.com/video/author-michele-norris-talks-unspoken-aspects-of-race-in-america/. In six words, create a story describing your life and who you aspire to be. Additionally, add a detailed explanation (within the word count) of what the story means.
