National Council of Negro Women Bertha Black Rhoda Section - Legacy Award Scholarship

The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. Bertha Black Rhoda Section is offering two legacy award scholarships. In addition to the $500 scholarships, students will be paired with a mentor who will support them through college.

Eligibility

  • Must be a female of African descent high school senior in the Spring of 2025
  • Live in St. Louis City or St. Louis County
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • May not be a family member of a member of NCNW-BBR

Selected recipients will be required to participate in the mandatory activities.
1.) Students and Parents/Guardian)s)/Caregiver(s)will participate in a NCNW-BBR Panel Interview Selection Process
2.) Students and their Guardian(s)/Caregiver(s) will attend a Meet and Greet Reception in which you will be introduced to your NCNW Mentor Team
3.) Participate in the Successful People Seminar hosted by NCNW Bertha Black Rhoda Section
4.) Submission of your college/university acceptance letter(s)
