Rotary Club of Kirkwood
The Kirkwood Rotary Club offers multiple scholarships to students who live or attend school in the Kirkwood R-7 School District.
Lou Holekamp Scholarships: Lou Holekamp, owner of Holekamp Lumber and a long-time member of Kirkwood Rotary contributed funds as part of the initial efforts to endow our Kirkwood Rotary Scholarships. His son, Bill, as a tribute to his dad, further donated funds for additional Holekamp scholarships.
Reim Scholarship: Bob Reim, a former Mayor of Kirkwood (the “Reim Theater” at the Kirkwood Community Center, where Kirkwood Theater Guild holds its performances, is named for him), was the owner of Color Art. His son-in-law, Jim Marr, a long-time member of Kirkwood Rotary donated the funds in Bob’s honor to start the Reim scholarship.
