Latinas Rising

The Latinas Rising Scholarship celebrates the resilience and ambition of non-traditional Latinas—those rewriting narratives, reclaiming their voices, and dreaming bigger cada día. Inspired by the legacies we carry and the futures we are building, this $500 award supports individuals enrolled in higher education or technical programs in the St. Louis region who demonstrates financial need. Funds may be used for supplies, books, or other educational expenses to keep moving forward.

Recipient will also be invited to join a mentorship circle through Latinas Rising, because together, we rise más alto.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:

  • Identify as Latina (inclusive of all Latina identities).
  • Be a non-traditional student (e.g., delayed education, parenting, career changes, migrant worker, etc.).
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Commit to participating in the Latinas Rising mentorship program.
  • Live in the St. Louis Metro Region.

The recipient will be invited the Hispanic Scholarship Alliance Award Ceremony on July 25.
