Hispanic Festival Inc. Scholarship
The Hispanic Festivals, Inc. strives to increase awareness of the cultural and artist contributions made by Hispanic musicians, dancers, artisans and chefs. We also serve to preserve these vibrant traditions and to educate future generations.
The Hispanic Festival, Inc. Scholarships were created to assist students in our community to further their education and set them up for success.
Eligibility Criteria
- High school senior or current college student who will be enrolled as a fulltime student to an accredited university or college or technical school for the 2026-27 school year.
- Demonstrated interest in, contribution to, or support of Hispanic culture and community
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Resident of the St. Louis Metro Area. The metropolitan area includes St. Louis city, the Missouri counties of St. Louis, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, or Warren, and the Illinois counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair.
Recipients are eligible to receive this scholarship only once.
Recipients will be asked to attend a scholarship acceptance event. The event will be on Friday, July 31 from 6pm to 8pm
Scholarships will be paid to the institution.

- Have you ever attended any Hispanic Festival, Inc. events, such as Fiesta in Florissant, the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival, or Día de los Muertos at the Missouri History Museum?
- If yes, please indicate in what capacity (e.g., volunteer, attendee, school field trip, performer, vendor, etc.).
- This scholarship requires either an essay or video submission. What will you submit?
- ESSAY: Please write an essay stating your past accomplishments and future goals, including any involvement with or support of the Hispanic/Latino community. Essay should not exceed 1000 words
- VIDEO: Submit the link to a video sharing your past accomplishments and future goals, including any involvement with or support of the Hispanic/Latino community. Video should be 3-5 minutes.
- Provide a brief (one paragraph) biography.
- Upload a letter of acceptance from a college or university (high school seniors) or proof of enrollment (current college students).
- Please upload a recent photo of yourself. Make sure it is a professional looking headshot.
