Imogene Ruth Albritton Mayer Education Trust Scholarship
This scholarship is to provide money for graduating Sikeston High School seniors who plan to attend a college or technical school in Missouri during the fall semester after graduation. The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the financial status of the trust fund each year. The scholarship is renewable for four years providing the recipient(s) maintain (s) a 2.0 grade point average each year. A three-person committee chosen by the principal will select the recipient(s). Recipients are responsible for providing a copy of his/her transcript to the scholarship committee each year.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicants must be graduating Sikeston High School seniors with at least a 2.0 grade point average.
2. Applicants must demonstrate a financial need.
3. Students who are relatives of committee members are ineligible, as are relatives of school board members and administrators.
4. Applicants must have displayed good personal character while attending SHS.
5. Specific talents, aptitude test scores and/or ACT scores will also be considered.
