Scholarship for St. Louis Public School Graduates
The Scholarship for St. Louis Public School Graduates will provide grants of up to $6,000 to five graduating high school seniors from within the St. Louis Public School District. These high schools include Carnahan High School of the Future, Central VPA High School, Cleveland NJROTC Academy, Clyde C. Miller Career Academy, Collegiate School of Medicine & Bioscience, Gateway STEM High School, Innovative Concept Academy, McKinley CLA High School, Metro A&C High School, Northwest Academy of Law, Roosevelt High School, Soldan IS High School, Sumner High School, and Vashon High School. This scholarship is renewable through graduation or up to ten semesters, provided the student continues to meet eligibility and selection criteria.
To be eligible to be considered for this scholarship applicants must:
• Be a graduating high school senior, from the St. Louis Public School District, planning to enter college as an incoming freshman in the 2019-2020 academic year
• Plan to attend an accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year college or university
• Have earned a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average while in high school
• Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or similar need calculations
To apply, students must complete this opportunity for the Scholarship for St. Louis Public School Graduates AND The Scholarship Foundation Interest-Free Student Loan Application in Scholarship Central by the deadline of April 15, 2019. To be considered for the Scholarship for St. Louis Public School Graduates, students must meet all the qualifications of The Scholarship Foundation Interest-Free Loan. Students who are selected to receive the Scholarship for St. Louis Public School Graduates may also be given an opportunity to accept or decline an interest-free loan or other grants through The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.
