George Chapman Scholarship (Ritenour High School)

Eventually to be known as “Mr. Ritenour,” George Chapman attended Ritenour schools from first grade through graduation. After serving with distinction in the Marines, Dr. Chapman became a teacher and eventually came back to Ritenour to serve as an assistant principal and, later, as head principal. Eventually, he became Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, a position he held for 15 years.
This scholarship is being awarded in Dr. Chapman’s memory.

Only Ritenour High School students graduating in 2019 will be considered for this scholarship.
